We offer 3 kind of courses:

1. Regular: classes are once a week in a group of between 4 and 12 other participants.
   -4 week course, twice a week: €210
   -8 week course, once a week: €210
   -12 week course, once a week: €315
2. Intensive: there is a total of 20 hours of class spread in one week, normally from Monday to Friday. Price is €520 per person, in a group of between 4 and 12 other participants.
3. Private or semiprivate: if you book a single class (not part of a package), each hour of class is €75 and you can take it by yourself or with up to two other people.
   If you book a package of 12 hours at location (Keizersgracht 520H, 1017EK Amsterdam) the final price is €840.-
   If you book a package of 12 hours online the final price is €720.-
   Too expensive? You can ask for online classes with teachers abroad. The packe of 12 hours is €360.

For courses that are spread over 2 months or more, instalments are possible.

According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, there are 6 levels:

• A1: beginners
• A2: pre-intermediate
• B1: intermediate
• B2: upper-intermediate
• C1: advanced
• C2: proficient

We have split the first four levels in three sublevels, and that makes a total of 12 levels from the start until you complete level B2. Level B2 is enough to work in an international environment and be fully independent in English.

Yes, We cover them in our courses “Exam Preparation”, where you can prepare for Cambridge Exams, IELTS or TOEFL for English; or DELE, CELU or SIELE for Spanish.

For group courses, we start as soon as we reach the minimum number of participants.
For private or semi-private sessions, we can book your first class today amd start when you want.

Of course! Send us an email to info@understanding-academy.com with the details you want to be included on the invoice, and we will send it straight to your company.

If you cannot attend to one class, you will receive a summary and are entitled to have a phone call about your questions.

If you are travelling or sick at home, the teacher cannot connect you through videocall, but another participant of the course may. You need to speak to them and, if everyone else feels comfortable, you can have the class from home.
